Another upload = another wordy sprawl on your sofa

No grand upload. I'm thinking of taking a night course for children's literature illustration. The current class is full, but there's another starting in January. Tempted, but it's been so long since I've been in school. Well, we'll see.


General stuff to satisfy web-peeps who have morbid curiosities

Arts:
Dragon-con was inspiring and refreshing.

Inspiring because it's always so -nice- to be able to hang around artists that are so good, even if those artists are across the table and want to sell you things. I bought some art books and buttons, which was surprising to me because I don't buy things at conventions. No, really, I don't.

Refreshing because it allowed me to air my dirty geekiness. I didn't think I was that much of one until I realized that I could recognize a lot of the costumes in the parade that happened at the convention. And felt the urge to actually go to some panels, even if to take quick snapshots of the famous people on the stage. I got a kick out of bringing a huge stack of photos back to work with me and showing everyone I could. I'm sure it was amusing to them.

Life:
