Winter snow visiting this city is like making a child eat something he dislikes: he most likely will take a tentative lick, wrinkle his features and then dash away from the dinner table. That is, if he even sits at the dinner table, having noted the food long before being prepared in the kitchen.
So when the rare snow's visit in January of two inches, tops, turned into quite a bountiful white-fest, followed again today (it's MARCH!) with another sprinkling? Well. It makes one rethink global warming.
Hm.
Incidentally, some proof that global-warming might be a little less substantiated than publically thought; something about governments and not being able to lose face/finances. Not that it is not an issue of some environment importance regardless. Should have gone to that lecture.
Thankfully today's snow was short-lived and the thin layer was quickly swept away with more rain.
Yup.
...
